Weight Loos

Weight Loos

Why am I starting a blog about weight loos? Chances are, if you found this blog, it was because you typed in "weight loos" into a search engine like Google. Yeah, I know that "weight loos" is misspelled and it should be "weight loss".

Even if you did misspell "weight loss", it's okay because this sight is about weight loss and weight loos!

In the upcoming post, I'll share my secrets with you about how I loss over 100 lbs. No, it wasn't by some secret forumula or magic pill. Also, it wasn't working out 6 hours per day either!

I know how difficult it is to lose weight and keep it off. I've been dieting on and off for nearly 25 years. There's little you can tell me about diets and weight loss!

In all those years of dieting and weight loss, deep down I knew what would work for me, I just kept trying short cuts. Once I made up my mind that I didn't want to be fat any longer and applied myself and my techniques, the weight started coming off.

Not gobs of fat at one time, but little by little it came off. Did I have weeks when I gained some weight back? Oh Lord yes! But I didn't let it derail my mission.

Did I starve myself? No!

Did I join one of those overpriced and overhyped prepared meal programs? Sorry, couldn't afford them!

Weight Loos Secrets

I'd like to think that my weight loss routine was natural and healthy. I didn't stand over a toilet after gourging myself. I didn't eat twigs and drink water 7 days a week. I lost the weight one pound at a time and remained focused.

One morning I woke up and stepped on a scale for the week. It showed that I had lost 102 lbs since I started my weight loss program.

Like everyone else trying to lose weight, I had my ups and downs. What you have to remember is to remain focused and don't beat yourself up when you gain a pound or two back. That's natural. That's your body working the way it was intended to.

I also took time out to reward myself. There are some foods that I just refuse to go without. Just so happens, that these foods are also very unhealthy and fattening. I don't care! I'm addicted to them!

I would set small goals and when I achieved those goals, I would reward myself with a sensible portion of one of my favorite dishes. This really helped keep me motivated and focused on my weight loos.

One thing you must keep in mind when you're tryng to loos weight is that it's a long term affair. You must completely change your life style. That's what real weight los is all about. I mean, afterall, what you've been doing up to this point hasn't got you nothing but being fat, am I right?

You must decide that you're tired of being overweight and you want a change. The cool thing is is that you don't have to do this overnight. In fact, if you do try and lose weight overnight, you'll end up right back where you started plus you'll probably add a few pounds as well.

Just like with the turtois and hair, slow and steady wins the race. It's also much, much easier to lose weight naturally by taking off 2 to 6 lbs per week than it is to try and be the biggest loser and take off 20 lbs per week!

You know what's also great about natural weight loss? You can eat regular food! Of course, there's a secret to that as well, which I will be sharing with you along the way. But you certainly don't need any "specialized meals" or any other garbage that is being thrown at us overweight people by big companies.

I lost my weight by eating every day foods. I didn't buy pre-packaged meals that taste like cardboard and I did't cook exotic meals that cost an arm and leg. I changed my eating habits a great deal, but like I mentioned above, I did it over a period of time. I'm like a lot of other people, I don't like change. I knew if I tried to do this overnight that I would fail. So I slowly but surely changed my eating habits as well as what I was eating.

Well, this post is becoming a War and Peace novel, so I'd better cut this short. Don't worry, there'll be other post where I'll be outlining what I did and how I went about losing over 100 lbs and most importantly, how I kept it off! And hey, I won't even hold it against you that you found my by typing in weight loos!
